14 Companies Doing An Excellent Job At Counter Strike New
Counter Strike New Revealed
Valve finally announced Counter Strike New after weeks of speculation. It's a major update for CS:GO that will be bringing it on the Source 2 engine.
It also brings sub-tick server updates and smoking grenades that are responsive. It's made a lot armchair gamers go crazy, but it looks like an upgrade for the average player.

Smokes
Counter Strike New is getting a major update that will completely alter the method of using smokes in the game. The changes, which are dubbed responsive smokes, will be an important game changer. Smokes will expand to fill up spaces naturally and move around objects on the map. They will also react to the lighting in the game, which makes their appearance more appealing and realistic. In addition to these new features, smokes will be able to interact with events in the game, which will open up new tactical opportunities. For instance, bullets could force smoke to briefly clear sightlines, and Hex grenade explosions will disperse smoke to block sightlines.
The most significant change in smokes is that they will be a more dynamic part of the game. counter-strike cases in previous versions were a fixed form that was limited in the distance they could travel and how much vision they blocked. The new smokes will now grow to cover the space they're within and block more of the player's vision when they are within it. This is a major improvement that will increase the speed of play and provide both teams with the same visibility.
In addition smokes are now able to react to the surroundings as well as weaponry and lighting in the world. This makes the smoke appear more realistic and allow players to utilize it in various ways to gain an advantage over their opponents. This will be especially useful in the chaotic matches that will take place on every map.
Smokes will also no longer be one-way which was a major issue in CSGO and allowed players to see their opponent's location behind the smoke. Twistzz, a popular CS:GO pro, claims that the new system is an enormous improvement for competitive CS2 and will make it more fair for both teams.
Other minor enhancements include adjusting the position of smoke particles in order to minimize seeing through edges and updating spectators' smoke overlay visuals to reflect their camera's position. The expiration of smokes was updated to match the visuals on screen.
Loadouts
CS:GO players can now customize their weapon selection prior the start of each game. The new loadout system lets the players to choose weapons that match their playstyles and team's strategies. The new system adds depth to the game because players must find a balance between the power of their weapons and their utility.
In addition to the new loadouts in addition to the new loadouts, the CS: GO update includes several other improvements and modifications. The buy menu was completely redesigned. The old buy wheel has been replaced by an adjustable grid that shows all purchase options simultaneously. The grid is filled with five pistols, as well as five "mid-tier weapons" like submachine guns, shotguns, and rifles.
The new system will be simple to use, and give players more control over their weapon selection. It will let them pick the weapons that fit their style of play and team strategy the most, as well being able to experiment with different combinations. They can also compare their loadouts against other players to see how well they stack up.
While many players are pleased with the added flexibility, others have been critical of it for straying from the essence of Counter-Strike. There have been concerns over how it will impact map-specific loadouts and skins for agents that are based on visibility.
Despite these criticisms however, it is important to note that the new loadout system is still in its infancy and will undergo more thorough testing over the next few months. It is possible that some of these issues may be addressed in future updates, so it is vital to keep an eye on the site for more details.
Workshop Tools are also included in the update and can be enabled via the settings menu. This allows community contributors to design weapons finishes and stickers, as also maps. The update will also ban players who break VAC rules during matches.
The new CS GO update is scheduled to be released in the middle of summer. Players can look over the complete list of features and updates by visiting the official CS: GO website.
Sub-Tick Updates
The server updates the world of Counter-Strike in discrete intervals of time known as ticks. Valve wants to ensure that CS: GO is fast and smooth. The smallest delay could impact the accuracy of a shot. A new video reveals the most significant improvements to the game, which is also known as sub tick updates.
Instead of a 64-tick-update each millisecond, CSGO is now able to use sub-ticks, or as Valve calls it, "micro ticks", to communicate with the servers. Each of these tiny increments of time will be recorded by the client and transmitted to the server, which will then return the latest game state to players. The servers will now know the exact moment when you shot and jumped, swung, and other inputs.
While a one-minute video is not enough to cover everything, the video explains that every piece of information sent by clients has a time stamp, and that the server will gather all the information from all players in chronological order before sending it back. According to the video the CS: GO server will now be able to transmit up to twice as much information as a 64-tick server.
This means that even when the game's tick rate increases to 128 Hz, it will still be able to process your commands instantly and continuously. The micro-tick updates also reduce input lag by making sure that the server responds to your actions without any glitches or delays.
This is clearly only the beginning of the technical improvements Valve is making to the game. Valve is currently implementing dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve the way smoke interacts with the surrounding and is upgrading all of the maps with high-resolution lighting, textures, and models. Source 2 tools and features will be used to upgrade all CS: GO cosmetics and weapons.
Maps
The upcoming update for Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game alongside some classics which are getting facelifts. These updates are currently being tested as part of a limited test beta. The first set of maps includes upgrade and touchstone maps that will see no major changes to gameplay, while others have been revamped or rebuilt using the latest Source 2 tools.
Overpass is one of the maps that has been revamped to take advantage the new engine's unified lighting system. The underpass on the map's dark and eerie scene has been filled with daylight, making the space more spacious and less congested. Smoke grenades are now expanding dynamically in order to fill spaces and interact with light.
Italy is a different map that has been overhauled. Its lighting, texture, and structure have all been greatly improved. The new version is also more balanced than its predecessor that was heavily CT-oriented. Fans can anticipate a few more classics, such as Aztec and Militia, to be revamped in the future.
While many of these maps are still playable in other modes, they're no longer added to the competitive map pool. Train is the exception because it has been removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet decided if the other maps removed from the pool will be added back.
Helsingin Sanomat is the national newspaper of Finland. The newspaper's latest update has been deemed controversial. The newspaper has been a vocal critic of Russia's actions in Ukraine, and the map draws inspiration from the war-torn city of Donetsk. The map is called de_voyna, and it contains a number of references to the conflict.
The developer will release a set of Source 2 Tools for map makers in the future. This will include features like improved lighting and character read, as well as a physically based rendering system that produces realistic materials, textures and reflections. It will also make real-world objects like doors and windows, more simple to implement. The update is expected to be released in the summer of this year.
